- Optical equipment (binoculars, telescopes, tripods and accessories) (outlet of Charles Frank). Optical items not in stock can be obtained from Charles Frank for inspection and purchase.

Volunteers Needed
A small band of local enthusiasts help out with a variety of tasks around the Reserve.
- Gardening in the Visitor Centre grounds.
- Bird Counts - monthly WEBS counts
- Inside the Visitor Centre - welcoming visitors, cleaning, and other odd jobs
- Basin litter clean-ups once or twice a year
